In the not too distant future unemployment is rife, people are starving and the most reported police incident is ‘food-crime’. But for Alan life seems pretty good: Captain of the local sports team where nothing brings him as much joy as swinging his trusty baseball bat into an opponent’s face while a roaring crowd screams for more! ... So why is he so sad?
